Suggestion: Role-based slots for events
Our guild would like to have more loosely defined slots for our raiding events so that rather than saying "priest" we can leave it open for "healer", so that a properly specced druid, paladin, shaman, or priest could take up that role. Likewise, some priests fall more under DPS than healing.
Basic roles I think would just need to be healer, DPS, and tank, and then leave the classes in there as an option as well. |

What we did is set up the event for the ideal priests, druids and shaman. As the even came closer, we would adjust the numbers based on who was on the waiting list. DPS priest were not allowed LOL. People not spec'd correctly on got to go if there was an emergency :P
That being said the request to make up your own positions is reasonable. In a few months, that feature may be foreseeable. |

As that "incorrectly" specced priest, I'm in high demand within my groups. I'll take the suggestion of adjusting numbers and using a waiting list and put that into effect in the meantime. Good work on the site btw!

*nods* I'd also like to add a request to this. We run guild that is a non-raiding WoW guild, and find that setting limits by class doesn't work for us at all. We are having to currently just set no limitations and go in and manually authorise people after looking up their class and build. A group role sign up rather than a class sign up would be incredibly useful to us.
