For various reasons, it seems a safe assumption that you're running Windows XP. Even if you should really have mentioned that in your post...

Right click your desktop, choose Properties, click the Desktop tab, choose "Tiled" from the Position drop down menu in the lower right.

Hmm, I don't think the update to allow CSS is done yet.. (or is it?) I'd just wait for that to arrive and use css.

I think the CSS is something like:
