Vista for Halo 2

What do you guys think about the Vista requirement for Halo 2?

I think im just ganna wait till I get a new computer rather than to buy it, I mean, I like the game, expecially for the PC but I think it's just to create sales for Vista in my opinion.

I'm taling about the PC, I know about the xbox version, in fact it's supposed to come out on my birthday (woot) but the PC version is out...but like stated above it's only for Vista, so most people have to wait.

As if any PC gamers want Halo 2, at all?
Halo on the PC sucked donkey balls - not that it was much better on Xbox.
There are countless better FPS games on the PC, with the Halo series being naught but a less-than-mediocre blimp amongst a wealth of genuinely good games... only a handful of hardcore console Halo fanatics will bother purchasing Halo 2 with Vista, the rest aught to know better (especially after the abomination that was the Halo PC port).

I want Halo 2 for Vista cuz I don't own a Xbx and like all that the PC version of the games offer. The Halo PC game wasn't all that bad the game had its flaws and really wasn't better at all than the Xbx version, but did offer a few new weapons and maps. PC version has mods as well as over a hundred or two hundred more maps than the X-box game.

Well it seems when I get mt new computer it will just have XP Pro, and Vista is still rumored to have some glitches and needs some tweeking, when Pro is pretty much bug-free.
Although I wouldn't recommend buying Vista r a new computer with it JUST for Halo 2, it wouldn't be a bad idea if you did (if you had the requirement) although true there is some games out there that I would much rather play other than that of Halo 2, but I still like the game none-the-less.

I like Halp personaly and I was dissapointed when it was announced it'd only be available to WIndows Vista users. Still, once Halo2 is released worldwide, it'll only be a matter of time untill someone makes a Crack so we can play it on XP.

I heard there gonna patch it cos theres been an uproar from fans without vista, and i agree with angry mob, because few people acctually have vista. (few people i know anyway)

sadly no, There are some fundamental incompatibility's with the structures of DX10 and pre-Vista OS's. and it kinda makes sense since i've seen (and even played) first hand some of the games with Full DX10 support. AND not to mention how else are they going to sell a OS that noone really wants since XP still works just fine

I know for a fact that groups out there *Cant find the link* are working on cracks for games restricted to Vista to work on XP and i know they have at least one crack out there for a "Vista only" game.
