I believe you're thinking of Ronin, Shadow. (A Ronin is a masterless samurai)

In LOFP, Rorin was a god of light: simultaneously a bringer of life, but also a stern destroyer of the unrighteous.

I invented the names of all the deities in Legends. They weren't based on any Earthborn language...Just what came into my mind at the time
