Was just wondering if there was a feature that allowed users visiting your profile to leave a comment? (Not a Respect, etc.) The closest thing I can compare what I'm talking about is with Myspace.com. Users are allowed to leave comments for their visitee to browse through. (Not the Private Messaging system - a public version of sorts)

Was wondering if this idea was already in place, in the works, not being considered, etc.

I haven't personally tried it, but I think the Friend's Wall is what you're looking for. It's one of the tabs on your profile page.

By default the friend wall is only for your friends, but you can change the permissions on it to allow any user to post/view messages if you prefer.
