How to Get the Best Results From This Forum

The primary mission of this forum is to support your guild. Naturally recruiting is key to that. So we welcome your LFM post here. However if you expect to get more than a passing glance, you need to do more than post and fly.

Here are some hints:

Be somebody. When someone is looking for a guild on gamerDNA, if they like your post, the first thing they are going to do is click on your name go to your public profile. This will take them to your personal page. So if you have no games listed, no friends, no respect, no avatar and no screenies, expect no interest.

Title your post well. Since this is a multigame recruiting forum we recommend you title your post as follows GUILD/CLAN NAME: GAME NAME > SERVER (if any) > FACTION (if any)

Bump with meaning. It's okay to bump when you have something new to say. Typing "bump" is not good enough. Tell us something. News about your guild for instance.

Get help from guildies. The second thing people are going to do is click on your guild's name as you have it listed. This will take them to tag space for your guild. If you are the only member listed, you are going to look like a wannabe guild. For a goodlooking tag-space, get some members to sign-up and take the Bartle test.

Have basic info about joining at hand. What is the number one best thing people get from joining your guild? Your best bet is to have some kind of a guild Webpage here--even if you have your own Website. Have some basic recruiting info or FAQ and link back to your main site, or use gamerDNA's built in recruiting application tool.

Advanced hint:

People want to do what others do. In the happy event you get a new member, post the good news here. A simple "XYZguildlinked is pleased to announce that newMemberrNameLinkedtoPP will be joining us in GameName" will do it.

Note: Spamming this forum will not get you new members--it will get you banned for at least 30 days. If you want to recruit on gamerDNA, become a member of the community and participate. When people have a chance to get to know the kind of guild leader you are and they like it--you'll find applications pouring in.
