jQuery is broken

well, i do not know why this service seems all messed up and somehow uncared for, especially since it has sooo much potential, great history and can b rather popular as a true gamer site, but i decided, as a new user who made a calculated and hard decision to use it actively, to report every and single issue and bug i encounter while using it. hopefully that will make someone think it over and get the site to its greatness again.

bug: jQuery is broken on ie8 and chrome!

this makes gDNA chat nonfunctional from time to time, and, i guess, has other consequences too.

It is caused by the chat somehow on load. Chat still works though so it's not a high-priority issue for us right now.

sure. but i'm also sure it's not a complex thing to fix, and it may only b a typo. do u actually need to call type=djs in the 1st error call, or should it b type=js?

this issue is rly annoying, actually. it can get chatroom options nonfunctional, and can get options changed just by browsing.

the most problematic issue is that u can't take chat offline, u can't change chat status, and if for some reason u got "keep chatroom window open" option activated, u can't deactivate it and it fill the half of the screen every time u load a page. u need 2 logout, delete history, try again, reload, try again, refresh, delete history, and if u r lucky, u will finally b able to turn the option off.

also, it seems chat isn't actually working properly. u can receive a message, but ur reply usually doesn't get delivered.

and the error may just b a function call typo.

i can confirm there r no scripting errors anymore on the service. hurray!

much obliged. this works towards gDNA image, for sure.

now, there's only one thing left - chat status isn't changable; while u can turn it off, u can't switch to busy or invisible. it's actually not a big issue, but it may also not be a big bug either.

Took me awhile to figure this one out, but it did turn out to be simple. The icons simply weren't there in the chat theme. So I copied the icons from another theme. They don't quite match, but they at least let you know status change does work.
