Do you use driving aids?
In games that offer it, do you use driving aids like traction control and ABS? And also do you drive manual or automatic?

I use the default settings in most games which means most of the aids are on and transmission is set to automatic

Thought I should bring something up and this seemed like a good one. This forum seems pretty inactive.

Really depends on which game it is and which virtual car I'm driving. For instance, in Test Drive Unlimited, I have Traction Control off for most cars apart from in the really fast ones (unless I just want to have a few laughs). This is only because of how hard it is to handle the fast cars without it.

I usually play arcade racers anyway.

d0x360 has much to be proud of
As long as a game will let me, I shut everything off but I set my transmission to Auto.

I play Forza 3 with no assists, driving line set to braking only and AI set to hard. You can pull much faster lap times with the assists off because they destroy a cars handling.
