Minecraft Update 1.7
This morning another update for Minecraft rolled out of Sweden. Notch mentioned he wanted to release some content before the Adventure Update came out and as of this today he has. Minecraft Beta 1.7 has been released adding a few exciting elements to the game.

Pistons that have the ability to push a block or creature have have been added. In a demo shown pistons can be made to be sticky and hold onto objects or just push them forward.

Now the only way to trigger TNT is by using redstone. This will hopefully prevent accidental ignitions.

Fences can now be stacked without having to do any weird tricks.

A tool "Shears" has been added. Shears allow the player to take wool from sheep without hurting them, as punching them no longer produces wool.

And... Herobrine has been removed LOL
