They banned it altogether? I thought there was a censored version released in Australia?

Yes, a censored version was released. Earlier in the thread (and many months ago) it was said that the PG version of the game was approved for release in Australia.

Oh yes, so it was. My bad, sorry!

I couldn't imagine L4D2 without the gore. I've watched comparisons between the censored and uncensored version. A game like that just isn't the same without that level of extreme violence. And they even took the riot cops out @_@

Yep, It really doesn't feel like the same game at all. That's Australian censorship for you. Better off just importing the games from another country and chalking up the cost as a f*ck you to the people who ban/censor games.
