I'm aiming to utilize a rogue this time around when i join a capaign a lcoal store set up for 4.0, to give me a break from being a defender-type unit.
thing is, i want an opinion on the question: what's the best D&D 4.0 race to be a rogue with the aim of a daggermaster as paragon path? all answers will be considered, but please back them up! |

Best thing I can say is:
Pick the race that fits with your character persona. It's a ROLE playing game, not an MMORPG where the perfect stats/build combo is required to get ahead. That said, Halflings are classic, and Gnomes have some interesting quirks with their going invisible when taking damage. |

halfling is an idea i thoguht about but i never consdiered gnomes' invis ability
i know it's a role playing game, but what i hope for in this character is: i want it to be someone who can prove rogues arent just thieves by pulling of the infamous Daggermaster paragon path who also is someone 'in it only for the ride' and 'wants and adventure' ((typical Lawful-good good-guy stuff)) |
