LOL oh my god, yes. That was some classic Silicon Knights-esque Mind effery. I just loved the visceral feeling of it. Just imagining being the one strapped to the gurney, and having the Joker pointing the gun straight at my face. So awesome.

When I played Silent Hill 4: The Room, I just got out of the room and into the subway system. I did not make it much farther than that. Those dogs just freaked me out. The fact that the room was just creepy to begin with had me on edge.

Later on Condemned freaked me out. Locker room, children laughing. I came so close to ending that experience right then and there. I did turn it off, but later went back and finished the game. That place still freaks me out though.

Let's see how I do with Silent Hill: Homecoming.... I still haven't started that one yet.

After reading the thread, this is terribly unoriginal, but the first Silent Hill game. It wasn't one moment of something jumping out at me, it was the entire game. Playing it made me incredibly uneasy and, worst of all, the sounds would stick in my brain and invade my sleep.

The sound of off-balance ceiling fans *still* makes me think of that game.

Really the only game I found scary was when I was younger and played fatal frame..now I can pop onto *any* scary/horror based game and rock it lol it doesn't phase me...I'm kind of numbed from watching and playing scary games/movies so much on those moments where the sound goes really loud suddenly and some guy pops out and does whatever they don't make me jump at all anymore xD

Playing the first Silent Hill game with the lights off in my room. I was fighting my way around the school and make it into a bathroom when suddenly the screen goes dark and I hear a baby crying in game in the background.

Freaked me the hell out.

OMG I thought my 360 crashed. when it started playing again I didn't even relize I was the Joker at first so I thought I had to restart the whole game.

Dead Space got me pretty good, it still gets me enen after 7ih playthrough.
