Heavy Rain

Just wondered if anybody else is as excited as me about this game? Being a fan of Fahrenheit (well until the last chapter) I really looked forward to what they would do next. Every time I see Heavy Rain I just think "I really, really want this game". The story seems intruguing the gameplay for what is essentially a new-generation P&C adventure looks absolutely stunning. Graphics also look amazing. The game is top of my most wanted list along with New Super Mario Bros Wii.

Heavy rain looks awesome! I'm excited because it sounds like it will have several different endings because the main 4 characters can die but the game continues.

Also it reminds me of a button sequence game I played back on the Sega Genesis that I really like. That evolved a guy’s wife dying by a biker gang and he jumps in his car and start wiping out that gang. The controls will be different but Heavy Rain reminds me of that game which gets me excited to get it.

I love this idea too. I wish I knew more about it though. Cause I'd love it if the whole story changed if a certain character dies or whether the game just continues the same but without their scenes. This could give some amazing replayability.

Is that game Road Avenger by any chance?

That's the game, it's been a very long time since I played that one.
I can't wait to get my hands on Heavy Rain.

I just watched the E3 live demo again. I love the idea of being able to hear what you're character is thinking. That section of the game they show looks so intense.

More people need to get on board with this game. I get a feeling it's just going to be a fan favourite like Fahrenheit was.

Looks like 2010 now. Unfortunate, but hopefully it will rock even more.

Glad that I have a PS3 in my new house (and can finally beat MSG4!)

I really want this game to do well, because I had an idea for their next game, using the same design and storytelling philosophies as Heavy Rain.

Here's what they should do: Approach Joss Whedon. Ask him to write a new Firefly story in the same vein as Heavy Rain (great amount of story divergence possibilities based on player decisions). It would be a great game, and it would give us all more Firefly, which is a very good thing.
