I'll have to get back to ya on this one. Friend just gave me a copy of Warcraft 3 and I am probably going to pick up a copy Starcraft.

I kept telling myself I needed to get these to try out but never seemed to get to it. :P

Starcraft. No questions! Its easy, fun, lots to offer in an RST, awesome story-line and after 12 yrs or so its still as good as whn it came out!

They're both really good actualy.Starcraft is the great grandfather of RTS games,it was reallly inovative when it came out(still remember playing it over the school's lan back in 4th grade).Warcraft is more of an upgrade , with a proper story.

I'm still waiting eagerly for starcraft 2 if it will come some time this decade

I have to disagree with you on that one. The original C&C is the great-grandfather of the RTS genre. Starcraft is the prodigy child of RTS.

NorseBrew has much to be proud of
My vote goes to Starcraft. I do like Warcraft 3 alot, but I tend to find the larger-scale battles of Starcraft to be much more satisfying.

Warcraft 3 ended badly. And I thought the Expansion pack was going to give some answers but nope; that just raised more questions.

Starcraft is my fav. Good story and gameplay. It ended with a little mystery which I hope gets explained in 2

I'd have to go for stracraft because it's not copping out on story by just saying "screw it, we'll let the story evolve in an mmo"

Wouldn't the ABSOLUTE original great-great grandfather of RTS genre be DUNE?

(Sorry just noticed that)
