You can change the difficulty in the gameplay menu in the pause menu to whatever one you want. Unless you already had it set to the highest one when you started.

Wow, you are good, considering there are only 5 Behemoths in the game.

I just finished the game recently... I think overall, it was a great and very enjoyable. Now that I finished the main quest line and played the "nice" guy, I'm anticipating making another character who's going to be a total asshole. Should be fun.

As for the crashing, I played this game mostly on my laptop which runs every other game I play just fine, but Fallout just kept crashing countless of times. After getting fed up, I just went back to desktop and haven't had problems since.

I play on desktop and I have no problems with it crashing either. Except for sometimes being unable to go back into the game after minimizing it. I've never played the prior Fallouts, so I have nothing to compare it to and I like it quite a lot. :3

I finished the game without having any crashes at all, then I went back and continued from an earlier save and it became rather crashy, it was bizarre.

I went in with low expectations and when I saw it I was quite amazed. I don't think it's true to the original (which is quite clear by the way it's presented in the classic Bethesda way) but that doesn't make any less decent.
