The game isn't long. It took me somewhere between 5-7 hours on medium. I then did it on hard without shooting a guard and that was harder, but it still only took 6 hours (one of the last scenes took about 1 hour to complete). The game is good. The storytelling is indirect so you aren't finding stuff and such. Its mostly told by the environment and small comments during conversations.
The controls are epic. They've really struck the nail on those. They are simple and easy to learn and you really just use 5 buttons. Of course all the others have a function, but you rarely use them. Ive heard about people getting seasick from it, but i had no problems. By my opinion, its one of the best games iv'e played. But thats only because its innovative and different. If they had made the game bigger and with a more involving story it would be on par to gears 2 quality of entertainment. It is good, but not perfect. Lots of small quirks they have to fix. |

I completed it in five hours; don't waste your money on anything other than a rental or download.

The time trials do add some replay value. Plus there's no dinks with guns trying shoot you while you're running. Just you versus the clock.

Honestly I think Dice did a great job in regard to physics as well as a virtual simulation of PK, but I will definitely have to agree that the story could have been fleshed out a bit more.
That being said though, I am interested in taking a look at the time trial maps which I'll hopefully have a chance to do later this week. I got my new Lachesis mouse yesterday which should make playing it a bit more enjoyable.
