Under Construction Consumer activism
Enjoy playing video games? Vote? Like acronyms?

Each year our representatives spend our money passing laws restricting the sales of mature games to minors, and every year those same laws are struck down as being unconstitutional.

The Entertainment Consumers Association is an advocacy group that lobbies on our behalf to protect our rights as game-playing Americans. I would urge all of you, not just those of voting age, to join the ECA.

As for those of us who do not live in the United States, I'm looking into what organizations exist across the pond that are analogous to the ECA. I'll post that info as soon as I have it.

I was hoping to drum up support amongst the gamerDNA community for the ECA. They do important work that affects each and every one of us.

I thought that with current climate of civic-mindedness that the last eight years have engendered that I might be able to boost support for a cause that is very near and dear to my heart. Any help would be appreciated!
