Whats not to like about Wowwiki...

What is extra nice about WoWWiki is that being part of Wikia, it is based on MediaWiki - the Wiki software that Wikipedia uses.

This means it is no slouch at all when it comes empowering authors writings with styling, layouts, and so forth. Even complex mathematical expressions can be entered/edited easily - and will display using absolutely correct mathematical, logical, relational, etc, notations.

Consequently, WoWiki pages seem look a lot better and be more readable thanthe other two sites that are mentioned: thottbot and wowhead.

Unlike those and similar sites, Wikia does ot depend on automated collection tools to fill in its information. Instead, volunteers type it in and maintain it by hand.

There is an active community inside the Wiki itself that works to insure that pages are consistent and complete.

This is not to say that WoWWiki is better than similar sites. These sites have different philosophies and goals - and their appearance and content tends to be markedly different.
