Mozilla says Firefox 3 ready for prime-time

Good news for all you Firefox users. Personally I like Firefox a lot better than Internet Explorer, but I do hate that Firefox doesn't display webpages the same sometimes. Hope FF3 fixes that.

I am using Ubuntu and get anxious at the idea of installing anything that isn't in the package system, and since versioning gets frozen with new releases and I'm too lazy to upgrade to Fighting Flamingo or w/e, I'm stuck using Firefox 1.5.. but new releases are mostly bug fixes and transparent backend stuff isn't it

Yes, I wish they'd fix Firefox so it's broken like IE, that way Microsoft won't have to fix it. <<<sarcasm

It's not a monopoly, it's just a broken browser that everybody has to copy.

Is that an addon from firefox? I'll admit I love firefox, but don't know a lot about the addons.

You can use the IE tab Add-on to open any site in a IE tab... that fixes that. Thumbs up on this news!

I agree. The only time I use IE is when sites don't look right or align properly. Unfortunately that has something to do with how FF and IE interpret table properties, and I wish they would fix that.

i use firefox almost exclusively. the only time i do not use it is when some sites rely on IE, or i have to tweak and peak firefox to use that site.
