Grand Theft Auto on NPR's On Point with Tom Ashbrook

This is an NPR radio broadcast of a show in which the merits of the newest Grand Theft Auto are seriously discussed. Is it bloody, brutal, grim, dark, wild and gratuitous? Or is it a new breed of video games surpassing movies and video for narrative richness. Moral dilemmas. Nuance. Truth and consequences.

WMA and RealPlayer only. I never realized NPR was so protective of their content...

I don't think GTAIV brings anything new to the table as far as pushing the limits on moral standards. It's definitely a genre defining game and the best thing to come out of the stagnant video game industry in years.

This is the first game that I can ever not say anything bad about other than Sony's awful multiplayer system, but that's not Rockstar's fault.
