GN_David: OK, I have some bones to pick with you here, Kelly – as it is abundantly clear to me that you wrote this part of your article about “Guild Officer Mistakes” (below) in direct reference to myself. Before I begin listing all of the reasons why you are off base I will do the gentlemanly thing and give you the opportunity to tell me why I am wrong (and God knows you will).

It's noble of you to want to listen to everyone's issues, hear every side of the story out, and of course do your best to come to some sort of responsible and reasonable solution. However, given the amount of issues that crop up on a daily basis, addressing each as though it's a hostage negotiation is simply too time consuming.
Why it's a mistake – being the person people run to with their every squabble takes a toll. Not only on you, but on the overall health of the guild. It's easy for people who seek negative attention to find a way to monopolize your time. These are also the same people who will offer up every excuse possible to explain their poorly thought-out actions.
