In the 70’s, in the time of my youth we had some great comic movies, “Animal House”, “The Blues Brothers”, “Caddy Shack”, “Young Frankenstein”, “Cheech and Chong’s Up in Smoke” and “Blazing Saddles”. We also had great midnight showings of cult films, “Reefer Madness”, “Dementia 13” and the king of all cult films, “Rocky Horror Picture Show”. We would sit in these movie houses liberally passing smoldering pharmaceuticals back and forth along the aisles. The laughter was intense, and even today almost 30 years later, some of the music and a lot of the one-liners are still used in everyday speech. Everyone knows that when stuff gets to be too much to handle you take a road trip, and when you are on a impossible quest it is a mission from god. These snippets of movies long time past shaped a generation.
