AoC: currently 415k numbers

Official quarterly report of Funcom states that of mid august 2008, 3 months after release, Age of Conan has 415,000 subscribers. That's a drop of 48% as 800,000 copies were sold to consumers after release. It is also stated that their customers 'play less hours than anticipated (older player, vacation, aspects of game?)' edit: meh, spelling in the title. -numbers +subscribers =/

They're reporting initial numbers from launch, not current. Also, they entail worldwide base, not just US.

I would say its less than that considering I have characters on several servers and the only one I can get in a group on is Cimmeria. If I had to guess I would say active players would be about half the stated amount when figuring in those who have dumped their subscription and are waiting for it to end.
