Q. Why do you join guilds or clans? (Answer!)
A. Logistics. It's easier having tools to support playing with people you trust than doing pick-up groups all the time. And it also brings those players even closer together as they learn to work with each other's strengths.

Q. What experience do you have beta-testing games? (Answer!)
A. The only long-term experience I have with any game beta was Pirates of the Burning Sea.

Q. What sort of tools (calculators, builders, spreadsheets, etc.) do you use to plan your characters? (Answer!)
A. Talent calculators. EVEMon. Imagination.

Q. What sort of players annoy you the most? (Answer!)
A. People who aren't respectful of other players. Racial slurs or PvP harassment are different than smack-talk and a good opponent.

Q. Do you use voice chat? (Answer!)
A. Yes, and I have a microphone

Q. When do you play, including timezone? (Answer!)
A. I'm usually on during evenings (PST), which for me means after work - 8pm or later. Weekends are anyone's guess unless I plan in advance.

Q. What is your first computer or video gaming memory? (Answer!)
A. Playing Zork I on my brother's DEC Rainbow 100. The green phosphorus text-mode monitor often lost it's v-hold, and I would strain to read the room descriptions while they whizzed by anyways.

Q. What are the specs on your gaming rig? (Answer!)
A. Nice, but not insane. Nvidia 8800GT 512MB, Intel Q6700 2.66GHz quad-core, 4GB DDR2-800 RAM, and Windows XP - the most tolerable Windows experience yet!

A. 10-20

Q. What are your thoughts on player-made mods/addons for games? (Answer!)
A. I think they're awesome. They give us "new games" to play. They feed creativity back into the community and allow for the exchange of ideas on an artistic level. They're also great for people trying to break into the game industry - the modder learns to work with a team on a project, and the game companies get to see that person has what it takes.

Q. Have you ever had a romantic encounter with someone you met in a game? (Answer!)
A. Nope. I've gone the other way and played a game with someone I've had a romantic encounter with, though. :)

Q. If you could cancel any online game, which would it be? (Answer!)
A. I wouldn't. I wouldn't wish any project to be shut down after everyone who was involved in the project put so much hard work into it.

A. Pirates

A. Yes. And I do!
