DESCRIPTION

The Wiggly Space Phantoms have attacked, covering the entire Earth in a series of grid-like force fields. Only Mr. Smart has the ability to destroy the force fields and restore peace to the world. As Mr. Smart it is your job to skate around all four sides of each square on each of the 36 force fields. After you enclose a square, it will flash. When you have enclosed every square in a force field, you move on to the next. Rowdy Fingers will constantly pursue you as you skate along the force fields.

Other enemies you must avoid include a creature named Spiler, who erases your work, a rolling ball named Cue, who can move diagonally along the grid, a spiky ball called Spine-Spine, who warps from place to place, and Charm, a sluggish creature who can slow you down. To ward off Rowdy and the rest of the Phantoms, you are equipped with a limited number of rubber balls. Other items that can help you during your mission include bananas, hourglasses, suns, mushrooms, wings, and stars, each of which you can find scattered about the force fields.
