DESCRIPTION
Alone or in pairs, players are challenged to keep their zoos in order in this early Nintendo DS release. Not to be confused with the fixed-screen action game ubiquitous to early-'80s arcades, the Nintendo DS version of Zoo Keeper is a puzzle game that involves swapping different animals around a game board to line them up in groups of three, similar to the contemporary web-based hit, Bejeweled. The game makes special use of DS features, however, by allowing player to use the touch screen to move animals and supporting two-player wireless games from a single Game Card copy. Zoo Keeper was available as a DS launch title in Japan, and comes to North America and Europe a few weeks later thanks to publisher Ignition Entertainment. ~ T.J. Deci, All Game Guide

“A simple puzzle game, not many different modes, not very innovative... but it's fun for some time. Perhaps it's because of the cute animals?”
