DESCRIPTION
Guide a giant robot through futuristic turn-based battles in this portable edition in Konami's Zone of the Enders saga. Once again, players take the role of a young boy who accidentally finds himself in the pilot's seat of a giant mech and in the middle of an interplanetary war. Unlike the original Zone of the Enders 3D action game released for the PlayStation 2 earlier in 2001, this GBA title focuses on deep strategy across 2D battlefields.
Players direct their military units in turn to maneuver into do-or-die battles with enemy troops. Player-controlled mechs and other vehicles can be upgraded by adding new parts and adjusted to provide customized levels of offense or defense and armor or speed. Mech pilots will also gain experience, becoming faster and more efficient as they survive more confrontations. This Game Boy Advance ZOE title was developed with approval of the producer of the original PS2 game, Noriaki Okamura. ~ T.J. Deci, All Game Guide
