Set within a surreal fantasy world where there is no clear line between right and wrong, Zeno Clash is a first-person action game that combines elements of combat, shooting, and fighting. Players take on the role of Ghat, son of the hermaphroditic and vulturine Mother-Father, as he attempts to escape from the powerful influence of his family. Joined by his female companion Deadra, Ghat embarks on an epic journey through a variety of strange and fantastic 3D locations. Combat primarily takes place at close range, with fighting-game style life bars appearing over the head of each combatant, but a variety of projectile weapons such as muskets and skull bombs also help players perform ranged attacks. As Zeno Clash progresses, gamers will confront an expanding roster of foes and learn new attacks to add to their repertoire of grapples, deflections, and finishing punches. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide
