DESCRIPTION
This PlayStation 2 strategy title transforms the popular Yu-Gi-Oh trading card franchise into a combat-oriented 3D board game. Battles in Capsule Monster Coliseum play out in a basic style similar to that of other strategy RPGs, such as Dynasty Tactics or Phantom Brave, where the well-considered placement and movements of characters on the game board can be crucial to victory. Of course, in this game, the characters and their powers are all based on official Yu-Gi-Oh rules. As players progress through the game's story, they'll have opportunities to collect new monsters and augment the powers of the monsters they already have. The initial retail release of Yu-Gi-Oh! Capsule Monster Coliseum comes packaged with three Limited Edition Official Game Cards. ~ T.J. Deci, All Game Guide

“So at one point I wanted to see if they had any good Yu-Gi-Oh games on the PS2, I know there are tons of great ones on the GameBoys but I needed to see if the PS2 could pass it. I purchased this and really really liked it at first. The Capsule moving monster battling is so original and different, but after the second or third tournament I had to stop because it was way to easy to play. If you like Yu-Gi-Oh its a nice addition, but it is really not much of a challenge.”
