The Goddesses of Ys once saved the Kingdom of Ys from a reign of evil. Six magical books were written of their feats and hidden in case they were to be needed again. Now, 1,000 years later, the magical books are needed.

Dark Dekt is preparing to wreak havoc on the land. Desperate times are here and the Seer Sara needs swordsman to help find the six books of Ys which have vanished. You play the part of Aron, a swordsman who wanders the land seeking adventure. Joining the search you will need to equip yourself with the best weapons and armor that money can buy.

Search everywhere — caves, towers — anywhere the books might be. Find the books, summon the Goddesses of Ys, and defeat Dark Dekt in order to succeed in Ys: The Vanished Omens. ~ Jonathan Sutyak, All Game Guide
