DESCRIPTION
After Baby Luigi is kidnapped and taken aboard a mysterious floating castle, Yoshi and his band of baby buddies must rescue the pint-sized plumber. Similar to the previous SNES title, Yoshi's Island DS accentuates the features of the DS by presenting the action on both screens, such as a two-story boss or a enormous rolling boulder. Players guide the dino do-gooder through environments including "Gilbert the Gooey's Fortress" with either Wario, Donkey Kong, Peach, or Mario strapped to Yoshi's back. In certain situations, Yoshi may even morph into a vehicle. Throughout the levels, players can switch riders at special markers, as the current objective may require one character's special skill. For example, Wario owns a large magnet to pull objects including coins toward him, and Peach can soar up to unreachable areas by catching a breeze with her parasol. Using these powers may grant gamers access to flowers, stars, and red coins hidden through every level. ~ Gracie Leach, All Game Guide

“Man, these last few worlds are brutal. I think I shed two dozen lives between worlds 5-3 and 5-6. Nintendo should really take that away from future games, since extra lives come so easily in games...”

However this game was very challenging, and required a lot of patience and time to fully complete, especially the secret white and black Yoshi levels. Boss fights were also all amazing, and all unique. A definite must play, maybe not a keeper though.”

You'd think with Starfox being noted as Miyamoto's favourite series (I am not certain how much sarcasm is present) they'd try the coop mode.”
