DESCRIPTION

Wordtris is a follow-up to the wildly successful game, Tetris. Where in Tetris, players had to fit together oddly shaped blocks, in Wordtris, players get blocks of uniform size and shape with letters on that they must use to make words. Just as in Tetris, once players have made a word, up, down or across, the word diappears and the other blocks move down to take up the space.

Scoring is based on the size of the word made. If the falling letters make new words, the size of the point award increases. The game also includes, like Tetris music and pictures that change as players move through the game levels and was created by Alexander (Alexi) Pajitnov. ~ Lisa Karen Savignano, All Game Guide
