DESCRIPTION

Imprisoned by the vile sorcerer Chang Li Xung, you'll do anything in your power to escape his foreboding dungeon. While the objective is simplistic, escaping isn't — the Maze of Keys is filled to the brim with deadly traps. Make a wrong decision and you'll be dancing with death!

Played from a 2D perspective, Wizard's Doom features 50 perilous levels (mazes) to explore and find items as well as escape from. There are five keys located throughout each level and, once obtained, a magical key appears. Although the Magic Key unlocks the final door in each maze, you're required to think fast as the Sands of Strength are slowly dwindling.

Along the way, you utilize battering rams and drills to crumble walls and other obstacles, some of which have keys hidden behind them. Use the items wisely as some walls are indestructible. After completing all 50 mazes, Chang Li Xung will be condemned to the Realm of Limbo, thus ending his terrifying reign of hatred.

Wizard's Doom utilizes VGA graphics and is contained on one 3.5" floppy disk. Will you be able to withstand the Sands of Strength and destroy the evil sorcerer? Only time will tell... ~ Matthew House, All Game Guide
