Wipeout 2097 is Psygnosis's futuristic racing title set in 2097 which was made to thrill against twenty opponents. Featuring blistering paced visuals through richly detailed courses of the future littered with neon lights, high rise skyscrapers and thriving industrial complexes. Likewise Psygnosis have also managed to include a techno/dance soundtrack which will blow your socks off featuring household names such as The Prodigy and Chemical Brothers. Control is handled by the usual acceleration and directional buttons but also air brakes that are used to take sharp corners at high speeds. Arm yourself with powerful weapons and power ups such as turbo's, auto pilots, heat seeking missiles and more.
