DESCRIPTION

Winter Games gives you the opportunity to compete in four different events from the 1988 Winter Olympics held at Calgary, Alberta. The game allows you to compete in one or all events. You may also practice each event.

The game allows up to 8 players to compete against one another. Each player is allowed to enter their own name and compete on behalf of one of 18 different countries. Medals are awarded at the end of each event. Unlike the 7800 version of Summer Games, there are no simultaneous events for multiple players.

The four events represented in the game are the Biathlon (a mixture of cross-country skiing and target shooting), Speed Skating, Ski Jumping, and the Bobsled. ~ Joseph Scoleri III, All Game Guide
