DESCRIPTION

The developer of the popular Mario Golf series and the original Hot Shots Golf game returns to the links in the Wii exclusive We Love Golf!. As with its previous golf sims, Camelot Software Planning has infused We Love Golf with realistic physics and deep customization options, while at the same time offering simplified controls and cartoonish graphics in an attempt to make the game accessible to everyone. Gamers drive, chip, and putt using the motion-sensing Wii Remote, while more experienced players can increase their arsenal of shots by adding spin, or by tilting the controller left or right slightly to produce draws and fades. Meanwhile, course conditions, wind, weather, and club selection all have realistic effects on a shot's trajectory.

There are a number of unique, fantastical courses, and the ten characters can be customized with a large selection of accessories, clubs, and costumes, including outfits made famous by Capcom characters like Chun-Li, Ken, and Jill Valentine. Gamers can also golf with their own "Mii" creations for a more personalized experience. In addition to traditional single-player tournament, practice, and versus modes, solo gamers can also try mini-games that award points for shooting into a target area or hitting the ball through suspended rings. Up to four players can go head-to-head in stroke mode, and online multiplayer options include World Play Mode, which lets gamers square off against random opponents for medals, and Friend Play, which allows players to compete against more familiar foes. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide
