DESCRIPTION

The sequel to WCW Nitro, WCW/NWO Thunder features 60 professional wrestlers to play as or against, including Hollywood Hulk Hogan, Goldberg, and Diamond Dallas Page. Eleven play modes are available, from standard tournaments to deadly steel cage matches. The three main tournaments differ in the number of opponents you'll confront: five, seven, or ten different wrestlers from the WCW league.

Other match types include exhibition, versus, tag team, battle royal, and cage match. While the majority of modes are single matches for practice or fun against the computer or a friend, battle royal is notable for its inclusion of 29 wrestlers. Whoever lasts the longest without being eliminated is declared the winner. Adjustable options include match lengths, group allegiances, ring-out times, difficulty, weapons, and controls.

Fifteen different 3D rings are included, modeled after such authentic WCW events as the Spring Stampede and Starcade. Additionally, each wrestler's ring entrance, theme music, and signature-style rants have been captured in full-motion video for your viewing pleasure.
