DESCRIPTION

In Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat, you play as the leader of the Grudgebringers, a mercenary army dedicated to fighting the encroaching evil that is threatening to destroy the vast continent known as Old World, a part of the well developed Warhammer world. The game is real time based and includes a mix of strategy, fighting and adventure with the emphasis on fighting. The fantasy world of Warhammer is typical of many games in the genre and is populated with twenty-five different troop types, more than forty battles (scenarios), a campaign mode, 3D animations and an illustrious background story.

Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat contains a large contingent of races, a full arsenal of weapons and masses of evil beings and armies. Troops have individual characteristics, attributes and abilities and combat is conducted using either physical weapons or magic. In addition to standard modifiable attributes such as initiative, leadership, and a varied list of skills, many creatures and troops are affected by or cause psychological effects (fear, hatred, frenzy).
