DESCRIPTION

Sega's Virtua Fighter is the most well known 3D Fighter to date and since it single handedly created a new genre, its presence on the PC may be a good thing indeed. The story follows eight of the Worlds best fighters gathering for a tournament of epic proportions. Each fighter knows they are the best in their own individual field, but in this tournament they are just another fighter.

Virtua Fighter PC features eight fighters all succesfuly ported from the Arcade including the likes of Lau, Kage, Wolf, Jeffry, Akari, Jacky, Sarah, and Pai. Eight backgrounds have also made the PC release while fighters actually fight in a ring that they can be knocked out of. Virtua Fighter PC also includes an abundance of difficulties, options and game modes to choose from.

In terms of conversions, Virtua Fighter PC while certainly no where near the quality of either the Saturn or Arcade versions does leave hope for future PC fighters with only a slight decrease in speed and graphical detail. ~ Brad Penniment, All Game Guide
