DESCRIPTION

Veil of Darkness is a tale of vampirism, which begins when your character survives the crash landing of his cargo plane in a remote, forgotten, Romanian valley. As the real-time 3D adventure progresses, you'll come face to face with the evil and cunning vampire Kairn, Lord of Csarda, who thrives on human blood and commands a dozen different types of undead creatures, such as werewolves, zombies, and ghouls, which assist him in quenching his never-ending "thirst" for immortality.

The game features three combat levels, an easy-to-use point and click interface with supporting keyboard commands, mazes, puzzles and riddles, auto-mapping (line of sight), and an option for full or simplified combat . You'll need to manage an inventory of items (you can only carry twenty at any given time) such as weapons, keys, talismans, and herbs. You'll interact with a large cast of non-player characters who give you clues, advice, and keywords that may help influence conversations with other NPCs.
