DESCRIPTION
Originally was released as Vega$ Tycoon in 1994. As the owner of your resort tour de' force, you'll compete against up to eight rival complexes in an effort to snag the biggest slice of financial pie on the strip in your quest to become a Vegas Tycoon. To do so, up to 5000 guests, each with their own desires and budgets, must be kept happy and gambling by using a wide variety of attractions and activities that are sure to entertain. Competition is fierce on Las Vegas Boulevard, requiring much more than simple luck to become successful in sin city. Taking your small time gambling shack from rags to riches will require combining business knowledge and management skills along with enough glam and glitz to satisfy even the snootiest of customers.
Ten resort styles are available to choose from, along with numerous rides and attractions, including over 500 vehicles such cars, limousines, and helicopters. In designing the interior, players can choose from dozens of games ranging from slots, to roulette all of which are customizable in terms of goals, competition and difficulty. Once everything is at its peak money making potential, players will need to hire a staff by using true-to-life skills and qualities as criteria. Finally, sit back and watch the money roll in (or out), as you make a run at being a virtual, Vegas Tycoon. ~ Damian Francis, All Game Guide
