DESCRIPTION
Players take part in two separate epic journeys and attempt to reunite four races in the hopes of beating back the relentless march of evil in Valhalla Knight: Eldar Saga. Long ago, chaos swept over the lands of Eldar, and only an alliance of humans, dwarves, halflings, and elves prevented the world from falling under the rule of the evil Spirit King. But over centuries the racial cohesion eroded, and as a new wave of monsters begins to overrun the land, it's up to gamers to step into this void and meet the challenge. Players begin by customizing a character in seven different categories, choosing face, hair, and voice attributes, and then selecting from five preliminary job classes. Battles occur in real-time on the main field map, and gamers can see potential enemies, therefore giving them the option of fighting from afar, moving in for a sneak attack, or avoiding confrontation altogether.
Towns offer players a chance to purchase weapons and equipment, and taverns house a variety of mercenaries who can be paid to join the party during missions. Characters level up through battles, earning skill points that can be assigned to either passive or active skills, and combat slowly fills up the player's "Burst Gauge." Shaking the Wii Remote with a full Burst Gauge results in devastating special attacks that vary depending on the character's job class and weapons. Though the second of Eldar Saga's two chapters takes place in a time period after the first chapter, gamers have the option of beginning their own saga in either episode. And those looking for multiplayer action can head online to team-up with a friend for co-op adventures and special two-player quests. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide

“Well...
This game could be great. Really...playing with the factor that this game is released 4/5 months before Monster Hunter 3.
However, this was not achieved.
You play the role of a warrior that arrives to "native birth place" and you can choose between 5 classes at start (i guess you can choose others later).
You can get armor, weapons, items and quests.
Ok, just imagine a Diablo 2 in full 3D.
But...why i'm talking about one of the most special games ever created?!
This game sucks. Sound is terrible...every step of the main character seems like stomp of an elephant, voices are "Hi, Hello...and other one-sound-sentences-in-a-hum". Graphics often reminded me of a PS2 (honest...i had to look down much often to check if i was playing wii), and the gameplay is often boring cause we find ourselves roaming in a musicless enviroment without realizing what we really need to do.
I still advise you to try this...you might want to realize how Monter Hunter 3 "can't be".
As for interesting, you might want to check...Rich enviroments, some quests might be interesting to explore...and allways nice feature of WFC quests where you can gather with your friends.
Is that enough?... not to me...not for wii.”
