Classic fantasy elements abound in this expanded sequel to Xseed Games' dungeon-crawling action RPG Valhalla Knights. Players begin their epic journey by selecting and customizing a party of six characters, drawing from the available stable of seven races and 11 jobs, and then giving each character specific behavioral quirks in order to influence the way they fight. The action is viewed from a third-person 3D perspective that allows gamers to see enemies and choose when to engage in battle. If a battle ends in victory, gamers can claim the spoils in the form of treasure chests that help raise the level of each character's main job and two sub-jobs. There are 16 areas and three cities for players to explore, and the entire single-player campaign lasts roughly 60 to 80 hours, with 80 side-quests and missions further expanding gameplay. Those tired of battling alone can take on a friend in six-on-six Ad-hoc battles, or join a buddy for cooperative play in which both gamers control three characters apiece. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide
