DESCRIPTION

In Utopia you become the ruler of a country where your objective is to support your people and keep them happy. Before beginning you have a few options to select from. First you must select your term of office, or number of rounds. Next choose from 45-120 seconds for the length of each round.

To help keep your people happy and increase your population you will need to purchase various items. You can purchase: forts, factories, crops, schools, hospitals, houses, rebel soldiers (to hurt your opponent), PT boats, and a fishing boat. Money is obtained when it rains on your crops, when you catch fish, and at the end of each round.

Utopia also has obstacles that must be overcome. Your buildings and boats can be destroyed by tropical storms and hurricanes. Also, while fishing you must watch out for pirates. ~ Jonathan Sutyak, All Game Guide
