DESCRIPTION
Ultimate Spin Doctor, published by Expert Software, is a rather unusual strategy game that incorporates puzzle elements. You control a spinner that looks like the hands on a clock and then move from point to point across a field filled with obstacles.
The object is to arrive at the goal without hitting any obstacles, enemy spinners, spikes or other hazards on the field of play. Obstacles consist of a wide variety of items including lethal spiked mines, dynamite bombs, oil slicks, deadly acid drops, sliding trap doors and more.
You'll also encounter items such as bonus points, timer points (which add extra time to the clock) and special points that move up and down as well as walls, doors, switches and similar obstacles.
Four difficulty levels are offered on 100 levels, though you cannot tackle the higher levels until you first master the earlier ones. As in many games, the moves are easy to learn but hard to master in each of the many and varied levels. You can skip up to three levels by using the skip key. However, to skip a fourth level, you'll need to go back and beat one of the levels previously skipped in order to "free up" a skip option.
The game features 256-color graphics and a full complement of music and sound. Can you overcome the obstacles and become the Ultimate Spin Doctor? ~ Lisa Karen Savignano, All Game Guide
