DESCRIPTION
Set in an alternate history in which famed British leader Winston Churchill dies in a 1931 car accident and the United States never enters WWII, Turning Point: Fall of Liberty tells the story of the subsequent world dominance by the Axis Powers. Neville Chamberlain's Great Britain surrenders to Germany in 1940, followed by Hitler's Middle East incursion and the fall of Russia one year later, and, thanks to oil from its German ally, Japan is able to skirt the U.S. embargo and assert its dominance over Asia. A limited resistance movement forms in the United States in 1943, but an uneasy peace persists for a decade as no military action is taken. Then, beginning with a stunning assault on New York City, the German army takes over the United States thanks to state-of-the-art weapons developed by a Nazi war machine that never stopped churning.
The game begins with the surprise invasion of New York, as fighter jets streak through the clouds, massive battleships converge on the harbor, thousands of paratroopers and hulking tanks pepper the Manhattan skyline, and giant zeppelins the size of aircraft carriers blot out the sun. Players take on the role of Dan Carson, a blue-collar New York construction worker-turned resistance fighter, as he traverses girders and battles paratroopers in an attempt to escape the shell of an incomplete skyscraper now crumbling from the German assault. With no gun to defend himself, Carson must use brute strength and take advantage of the elevated environment to fend of the Nazi attackers and reach the ground before the building collapses. It gets no easier on the ground though, as players must then use guerilla tactics and more unique environmental kills to overcome superior weapons and battle the Nazi menace through the streets of New York City, Washington D.C., and London. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide

“Not the best fps I've ever played in my life. With titles like "Brother in Arms" in the market I have no clue how can someone release a game like "Turning Point: Fall of Liberty". Constant loading times between the areas cut all possible action a fps should have and even using a good PC the game lags a bit. The graphics are really lame and the player is dropped in a game without a proper preparation (no tutorial at all), and with no map.
If you want to play a fps go for other options in market, this one is terrible.”

“The first half of the game is uber-linear and tries hard to be different whilst using age-old setpieces. The second half the game uses both tried and tested gameplay and slightly more interesting settings, it's a shame that most players won't bother ”
