DESCRIPTION
Tunnel Runner puts a twist on classic maze chase games like Pac-Man and Mouse Trap by putting you right inside the maze. Instead of controlling the action from a third-person perspective, Tunnel Runner gives you a first-person viewpoint.
The goal is simple — find the key on each level and head for the door of each maze while avoiding the deadly Zots, who will kill you on contact. There are three types of Zots — grey, white and red. Grey Zots are slow and easy to evade. White Zots are faster and will chase after you. Red Zots are the fastest and will quickly hunt you down. Zots cannot be killed, only avoided.
Each level of the maze, called a run, is made of many rooms, each distinguished with a floor of a different color. Rooms with multicolored floors contain an escape door which can only be opened with the key. You receive points for each room you pass through and for escaping a run. You earn an extra life every 1,000 points. A 2D map of the maze is available at any time by pressing the fire button. ~ Skyler Miller, All Game Guide
