“If you've ever played a classic tabletop edition of Trivial Pursuit, you know it's one of the most intellectually challenging board games out there. This game for the Wii is no different. It tests your mental mettle on the usual categories: Arts & Entertainment, Science & Nature, Sports & Leisure, etc. It offers a solo mode of play and two multiplayer modes as well. I've only played the solo mode, but, so far, I like it. While the game itself is safe for everyone, it's unlikely kids will find it as entertaining due to the difficulty of many of the questions. My major gripe, and really the only one I have at the moment, is the announcer. I wish there was a way to turn him off. Throughout the game he'll complement or ridicule you with cheesy, and annoying, one-liners. Unfortunately, the only option is to turn off the sound fx. Otherwise, you have no choice but to endure the bad jokes which, while amusing at first, quickly become irritating. Regardless, Trivial Pursuit is a fun trivia game, one firmly in the spirit of its tradition, challenging intellectual stimulation.”
