The economic models presented in 1995's original Capitalism were detailed and realistic enough that the game has been used as a teaching tool as well as for entertainment. This sequel is designed to build on that foundation of deep authenticity, offering a wider range of choices for the virtual CEO and more sophisticated reactions and market effects. The game takes place in a city that grows and changes as businesses develop. Players can take control of nearly every aspect of their growing company, either directly or through a skilled management team.
