DESCRIPTION

Total Carnage is a suped up sequel to the smash hit by Midway, Smash TV. However, in Total Carnage the object isn't to win money and toasters on some sicko television game show. The object in this game is to save the world from maniacal terrorists. You control either Captain Carnage or Major Mayhem in their quest to bring down the dangerous General Akhboob. There are a wide variety of special weapons at your disposal and as the name suggests there are obscene displays of violence and firepower. You also have the option to call in air strikes or place timed bombs by hitting the strart button. The two joystick, top down format is a holdover from Smash TV and you will need this added control to survive barrages from all angles. ~ Jeff Irwin, All Game Guide
